Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Cock Block (“Cock Block,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Cock Block mobile application (the “App”).

The short version

Cock Block does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not sell your personal information. Your app-blocking choices and preferences are stored on your device. When you use the yelling challenge, audio is processed through Apple’s speech-recognition technology as described below.

Information the App uses

• Screen Time selections. With your permission, Cock Block uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks to let you select apps or categories to block. Apple provides these selections to the App as privacy-preserving tokens rather than a readable list of your app activity. The selections are stored locally in the App’s shared container.
• Microphone and speech data. The App accesses the microphone only while you hold the challenge button. It measures audio volume and uses Apple’s Speech framework to determine whether you said the unlock phrase. Because the App allows Apple’s network-based recognizer, audio and transcription data may be sent to and processed by Apple. We do not store audio recordings or receive a copy of them. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.
• Settings and challenge state. Preferences such as your required volume, unlock duration, whether blocking is armed, and the temporary-unlock expiration time are stored locally on your device.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you include in your message so that we can respond.

Information we do not collect

We do not operate our own analytics or advertising services in the App. We do not collect your browsing history, contacts, precise location, photos, or the contents of apps you choose to block. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Permissions

Cock Block may request access to Screen Time / Family Controls, the microphone, and speech recognition. These permissions are used only to provide app blocking and the unlock challenge. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, although disabling them may prevent core features from working.

Data retention

Locally stored settings remain on your device until you change them, reset the App, or delete the App. Email correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain support records, and comply with legal obligations.

Children’s privacy

Cock Block is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or applicable law. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above.
